Airport transportation

When you get to Cardiff airport, there are two main public transport services into Cardiff. You can either take the X91 bus to Cardiff, or the shuttle service of the airport. You can take the X91 bus at the departures entrance which heads to Cardiff. You can also take the airport shuttle which can bring you all the way to Rhoose. From there, you can catch the train to Cardiff city.

Taking the bus

The bus system is the primary mode of public transportation in Cardiff. During your United Kingdom vacations, you can look up bus schedules ahead on the Cardiff Bus Stations so you will not miss a bus ride. There are plans to extend the trail by converting the Cardiff City Line, Coryton Line and Butetown Branch Line into light rail lines.

Waterbuses are an interesting yet unique way to go around Cardiff during your United Kingdom vacations. The waterbus runs every hour between the city centre of Taff Mead Embankment and Cardiff Bay by the Mermaid Quay, and between Cardiff Bay and Penarth or also known as Cardiff Bay barrage.
